Last night's show was excellent, Submecca and Radiant Citylights rock very hard and we'd like to thank Submecca for getting us in on that show. We just finished our demo and handed a bunch out last night. I wish we had more to hand out but we only had an hour or so before the show to get them copied. Later tonight I'll be posting the entire demo for download here and on our Myspace so keep an eye out for that. We'd also like to hear what you guys thought about both the show and the demo, send us email, post on our Guestbook, Myspace, whatever!

Haven't updated in a little while, but we've been busy! We had a great show with Submecca in September and are planning to play with them again on November 15th at Evolution nightclub. We're trying to get an EP recorded before December so we've been busy with that. We'll be tracking drums within a week or two and the rest of the instruments will follow shortly after.

There's also tentative plans for a Tool Pre-Party on the afternoon of December 1st, if any bands are interested in playing email me for some details.

We've confirmed the date and venue of the show next month, details are on the panel to the right. It sounds like we will be selling advance tickets as well as at Lyle's Place and anything left over at the door. We're just waiting for confirmation from the fourth band and then you'll start to see some flyers... er... flying around town. This is going to be an excellent show with varying styles of music so you should all come check it out!

The show at the Victoria Events Center didn't go quite as smoothly as I had hoped, mostly from technical difficulties with the guitar and drums, but it was still fun to play. I've uploaded our debut of the new song Grinder as well as the videos from Friday's show with Loot so check those out on our Music page. Some bands have reached me about another show at the VEC and we're in the process of organizing so check back for details on that.

Thanks to everyone for coming out last night, we got some really good feedback. If you have any videos or photos you would like to send us, you can reach any of us on the links page; we will be posting our own videos of the show soon. Our show tonight is at 10:20pm at the Victoria Events Center for all those planing to attend. Loot put on a good show and we hope to play again with them soon. And remember, nothing says "I care" like a moustache ride.

The show at the Vic Events Centre on August 4th has been moved to August 18th, still a Saturday. Also, we wil be opening the stage for Loot, the Tool tribute band from Vancouver, on Friday August 17th. We will be selling tickets for both these shows so email us if you'd like one.

Hey guys, sorry about inviting you to a show and then cancelling the next day. We were asked to fill a slot but there was some miscommunication and the slot was filled already. However, we are playing in a battle of the bands type of show on August 4th. The tickets are $15 or $10 in advance so if you want an advance ticket, email one of us and we will get you one.

Also, we will be recording a demo very soon so check back for more details on that.

No, we haven't broken up! We've been writing some new material and trying very hard to get on the bill to play a show. It seems that something has worked as we've been invited to play on Saturday the 23rd of this month. Details are being worked out at this moment and when we figure it out, I'll post more information.

Logan's was a great time, we all had a lot of fun playing there and hope to do it again very soon. The entire performance was filmed and now and I'm in the process of uploading it to our YouTube. Thank you to Becky and Tim for holding the camera for us, we appreciate it a lot. A couple of the songs will be on our Music page by the end of the day and there will be new photos when I can collect them from whoever's cameras took them. If you took any pictures, please send them to me. My email address is on the Contact page.

The house party show seemed to be quite a success. We've recieve a lot of good feedback from a lot of people and I'd just like to say I really appreciate all your support, especially so early in the life of this band. We're so stoked on this band right now that I'm arranging for a show at Logan's near the end of this month. More details on that once things are confirmed.

We're slowly uploading the pictures and videos from the show last weekend. The Music page now has two videos of us playing Cain And Abel and The Fabulist, which we screwed up the beginning of so please forgive us.

With this little show coming up, we've decided to share some video footage of us in the jam space. It's just a little taste, mostly because it's a really old take and let's just say our playing is slightly less than impressive for most of the song. I can also guarantee we sound way better now than on that video, so please don't judge us by this!

We will be recording our performance on Saturday, both video and live stereo tracks which will most likely be posted here alongside some more pictures of us actually playing. This should be a fun night and we'll probably be having a big jam session after our actual set so please come on out and check us out!

We have a show, Saturday March 31st. The details are still a little up in the air, but this is what we got so far: It is at a house (house party), there will be one to three other bands, cover will be $2 or something like that, and there may be food and beer you can buy there. The house is brand new, so we won't be openly posting the address to avoid random careless destruction. If you want to come, just contact any band member, all our e-mails are posted on the links page. If you don't personally know any of us don't be afraid to give us a shout for the address. More details closer to the date. Rad.

Heya kids, so some recent news: we have our set list. For those of you haven't heard any of our stuff other then the "pop-can" recording currently on the site, we have expanded our musical expression. Including unpolished work, Transient now has over 50 minutes of complex original material. The songs range from mellow acoustic tracks and Irish jigs, to "artistically motivated" rock and spastic metal utilizing a harmonica. Needless to say, I'm becoming extremely excited as our musical skills skyrocket. I have been shamelessly promoting the band to like-minded people and a few local film makers are interested in teaming up and making a music video for Cain and Abel. It may be all in the mix right now, but from where I am standing, Transient is flying and picking up momentum. No concrete show dates yet.

Welcome to Transient-Band.com. This is our band's website and here you will find everything you need to know about the band.

We are currently in the writing stage and are not yet ready for live performances. More information will be posted when we get closer, probably within a couple of months.
